Cardiología Intervencionista

We are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the coronary arteries, the heart and the blood vessels through percutaneous techniques are minimally invasive.

Cardiac catheterization is the reference in the diagnosis of most cardiac diseases, and with the catheterization therapeutic, we can treat a wide variety of conditions including coronary, structural, or using devices such as balloons, stents, occluders, among others. These procedures can be carried out on an outpatient basis (with observation of 4 to 24 hours) or hospitalized, both elective and urgent.

Our goal is to provide a diagnosis and percutaneous treatment of heart disease with maximum efficiency and safety for our patients. We value each case individually and apply the most advanced techniques, always bearing in mind the benefit of the patient.

  1. Coronary angiography diagnostic: Using X-rays and the injection of iodinated contrast through a catheter, we evaluated the coronary arteries to detect blockages or atherosclerotic lesions that can affect the blood flow to the heart.
  2. Catheterization right: through a catheter, we evaluated the pressures and flows in the right chambers of the heart, which provides us with important information about its operation and possible disorders.
  3. Coronary angioplasty is a procedure to open blocked blood vessels of the heart. Coronary angioplasty is the vessels, called coronary arteries, which carry blood to the heart muscles. A small balloon on a catheter close, called a catheter, is used to widen a blocked artery and improve the blood flow.
